With staff members of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, Consulate Officer Jeff Graham visited Lhasa and Lhoka (Shannan) Prefecture, known as the cradle of Tibetan civilization, which lies to Lhasa's southeast along the Yarlung Tsangpo River.
Yumbu Lhakang Palace is a reconstruction of one of Tibet's oldest buildings and was rebuilt in 1982.
